Just a housewife? Homemakers are essential for us to have a life!

‘I am just a housewife.’ We have surely heard that from every lady who is truly a home-maker, but underestimates her job. Being able to take care of every little task in the house is not an easy job. It does not pay in materialistic gains especially not money. I guess that’s probably because we can never quantify it. Some tasks are just precious and priceless. There are some specific issues about homemakers that I want to address in this post. These are just my observations, not necessarily blaming or claiming a scenario. Just a Housewife The primary issue that has bothered me and probably every woman is that taking care of the house and meeting a zillion needs of family members is seen as ‘just’ a job. Start with an instance, anyone who has grown up with the mother or father (rare in India) as a stay-at-home parent, knows the value of coming home. A home is never a home without loving people waiting for us. From little tasks like providing us our clothes for the day to prepari...

Aarti added that fitness should not aim at losing weight, rather living healthy. “There is no point of exercise and being skinny if we are facing digestive issues and illness every day, so let’s be kids and dance to be fit the fun way,” she said. Group's president Ashish Luniya and Secre...
