JEE allotment, Indore's first choice IIT-Bombay

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) has released the round 1 seat allotment result online on Friday. Candidates who have qualified JEE Main and JEE Advanced and who have applied for the counselling process can visit the official website to check the Round 1 allotment result.
To check the JoSSA round 1 seat allotment list candidates are required to enter the JEE Main application number, password and security pin in the seat allotment list link given.
 Candidates who find their names in the JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment results will have to confirm their admissions to the IIT’s, NIT’s, IIEST, IIIT’s and other GFTI’s which have been allotted to them.
As per the schedule released for the counseling procedure, the candidates who qualify the JoSAA round 1 seat allotment need to appear for the document verification and acceptance of seat process by reporting to the centres from June 28 to July 2, 2019, between 10 AM to 5 PM. 
On July 3, 2019, the list of filled seats and the availability status will be displayed on the website. Along with this, the 2nd round seat allotment list will be released by 5 PM on July 3, 2019.
Candidates who qualify the seat allotment round are required to report to the centres along with all the documents required to be submitted. Candidates are required to carry both original and copies of the original documents.
IIT-Bombay is top choice
IIT-Bombay continued to get students from the elite club of top rankers in JEE (Advanced) this year too. Of the Top 100 rankers in JEE (Advanced), 64 students have opted for and have been allotted a seat at IIT-Bombay, followed by 33 in IIT-Delhi. Last year, IIT-Bombay had 63 students from the toppers’ club. IIT-Kanpur had two students and IIT-Madras had one student from the top 100 ranks, this year.
Even from Indore, the toppers had applied first choice as IIT-Bombay. Valay Ramchandani, female topper of IIT Kanpur zone had applied for IIT-Bombay as her first preference as well.
Due to stiff competition, she did not get the ranking. However, she has been allotted seat in IIT-Delhi in mathematics and computer science course.
Documents to carry for verification
Three passport size photographs, Class XII performance, Provisional seat allotment letter, Undertaking by the candidate, Proof of seat acceptance fee payment, Photo identity card or Class XII admit card, Admit card of JEE (Main) 2019, Scorecard of JEE (Main), Class X mark sheet (for date of birth proof), Class XII (or equivalent) board mark sheet, pass certificate (if available).
