Entrance exam for excellence & model schools on March 1

The entrance examination for schools of excellence and model schools will be held across the state on Sunday. Through this, students will be selected for admission in class IX for 2020-21 academic session in 50 schools and 201 model schools in the state. Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board entrance test will be conducted at 406 centres in the state. The students appearing for the selection examination have been asked to reach examination centres at 9 am. The candidate will have to bring a photo identity card, admit card and two black ball pens to the examination centre. Admit cards have been issued but students can also download them from the website of Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education and mobile-based app.

MPBSE class XII exam time table revised

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) on Saturday revised the time table for class XII examination. According to information, mathematics examination will now be held on March 24. The examination was to be held on March 23 earlier. Biotechnology examination, which was scheduled for March 24, will now be held on March 23. The revised examination schedule can be found on website of Board of Secondary Education. All the remaining examinations will be held on scheduled time released by the board earlier.

Pvt schools oppose collector’s order to allot roll number without fee

Private School Association, Indore, has opposed collector’s orders on giving roll numbers to students even if they have not paid their fee. The association’s office bearers submitted a memorandum to collector Lokesh Jatav on Saturday asking him to cancel the issued order. Association president SL Prajapati said all schools work to educate students and they would never ruin a child’s future. He added that schools always issue roll numbers in time for examinations. “However, if such orders are taken out, then parents who pay fee on time will also avoid paying fee on time,” association secretary Deepak Joshi said. Collector had previously issued orders for securing future of students and asking all private schools to issue roll numbers even if fee is not paid.

10 buses to connect Rajiv Gandhi circle to Rau to improve connectivity. Chief Minister Kamal Nath announced this on Friday as he inaugurated the new buses for the route. CM along with sports and youth welfare minister Jitu Patwari, health minister Tulsi Silawat and other ministers also announced building bus stops between Rajiv Gandhi circle and Rau. MPBSE (Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education) has released admit cards for students attempting class 10 and class 12 board examination 2020. These are updated admit cards for regular and private students, who have modified details like name and medium of examination with late fee. All those examination forms which were filled with late fee also come in the same category. Board examinations will begin from March 2 for class 12. For class 10, the board examination will begin from March 3. Students can download the admit cards from the official website of the board. Every student is required to login for downloading the admit cards online. The students are advised to check all the details present on the admit card after downloading it. CBSE controller of examination Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj in the letter to school heads said, “It has been noticed that few schools affiliated to CBSE issue various certificates based on information which is available only in the school and such certificates are being sent to CBSE offices for countersigning. Physical Education (PE) examination was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday. Most science students opted for this subject as they felt, it would boost their percentage. Over 6,700 students from across the country appeared for the exam and the question paper was quite easy to attempt. According to initial feedbacks the examination was easy and manageable. Most students are expecting good marks. Physical Education exam paper was of 70 marks and the duration of the examination was of three hours. MP board exams from March 3 for High School, March 2 for Higher Secondary, March 4 for class 5 & 8

According to the release issued by Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh (MP board) on Sunday, the high school examination will start from March 3 and the higher secondary examination will start from March 2. The board has completed all the preparations for conducting these examinations. About 19 lakh 38 thousand 308 students are appearing in the board examinations. This year about 8 lakh 2110 students are appearing in Higher Secondary Examination as regular candidates.  About 6882 candidates will appear as private candidates. Some were happy as they expected it to be tougher.
