10 buses to connect Rajiv Gandhi circle to
Rau to improve connectivity. Chief Minister Kamal Nath announced this on Friday
as he inaugurated the new buses for the route.
CM along with sports and youth welfare
minister Jitu Patwari, health minister Tulsi Silawat and other ministers also announced
building bus stops between Rajiv Gandhi circle and Rau.
As per discussions, government will
construct 34 bus stops from Rajiv Gandhi circle to Rau. “All these bus stops
will be close bus stations,” the release from AiCTSL said.
Further, these bus stops will be equipped
with public information system, bus timing, help line number, emergency number,
off-board ticketing, seating arrangement of passengers. Further, other
information for planning their journey will be available to the passenger in
these bus stops.
The buses launched that will ply on the
decided route are equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
These buses are equipped with CCTV cameras,
public information and public announcement systems. The buses are air
conditioned and will be running on CNG (compressed natural gas).
Further,
the buses have on board unit (OBU).
Promoting public transport and use of green
energy, former lok sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj
travelled in electric bus (e go) from Agrawal public school to Abhay Prashal.
