Private School Association, Indore, has opposed collector’s orders on giving roll numbers to students even if they have not paid their fee. The association’s office bearers submitted a memorandum to collector Lokesh Jatav on Saturday asking him to cancel the issued order.
Association president SL Prajapati said all schools work to educate students and they would never ruin a child’s future. He added that schools always issue roll numbers in time for examinations.
“However, if such orders are taken out, then parents who pay fee on time will also avoid paying fee on time,” association secretary Deepak Joshi said. Collector had previously issued orders for securing future of students and asking all private schools to issue roll numbers even if fee is not paid.
