Hoax Bomb Threat Reported at DPS Rau; Authorities Take Precautionary Measures

Verified Report: No Threat Detected Following Campus Inspection

A hoax bomb threat was reported at DPS Rau after an email was received at around 9:00 AM on the school’s official system today.

The information was immediately reported to the National Cyber Security authorities and local administration. Officials indicated that a similar email had been received at the Commissioner’s office approximately 15 days earlier, which has been under active monitoring.

Safety Protocols Executed:

  • Evacuation: Students dispersed early; half-day declared as a precaution.
  • Search Findings: "Cyanide" mentioned in email; no suspicious objects found.
  • Official Clearance: No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued after thorough search.
  • Investigation: Investigation into the source of the hoax email is in progress.
