The Lord Ayyappa & Ganesha Temple at Mahalaxmi Nagar conducted special poojas on Tuesday, marking the spiritual beginning of the temple’s 34th anniversary of Prana Pratishta.
SM Pillai, president of the Lord Ayyappa Charitable Society, noted that the rituals were performed with full devotion as the community prepares for a week of traditional Kerala ceremonies. "Devotees participated enthusiastically today to seek blessings," he added.

Society Secretary N Gopakumar highlighted that senior priests from Kerala have arrived to perform rituals every morning and evening. The inclusion of Sopana Sangeetham offers a rare opportunity for Indore residents to witness the spiritual music that has echoed through Kerala's temples for centuries.
The celebrations provide a unique blend of spiritual connection and cultural immersion, strengthening the bond within the local community through music, art, and communal gatherings.
