Paper Ashoka Chakra Craft

Materials Needed

  • 1 square piece of blue paper
  • A pair of scissors
  • Pencil (optional)

Step 1: Make Creases

  1. Fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically, then unfold.
  2. Fold diagonally both ways, then unfold. You should see 8 lines coming from the center.

(Tip: These lines will help you cut the spokes evenly!)

Step 2: Fold for Cutting

  1. Bring all four corners to the center.
  2. Fold the new smaller square in half twice.
  3. Fold it diagonally into a triangle. You now have a thick triangle ready for cutting.

Step 3: Draw and Cut Spokes

  1. The triangle’s tip is the center of your chakra.
  2. Lightly draw 16–24 spokes from tip to the outer edge.
  3. Carefully cut along the lines. Precision matters – it makes your chakra look neat!

Step 4: Unfold and Finish

  1. Slowly unfold the paper.
  2. Flatten gently.
  3. Your Ashoka Chakra is ready! Use it in a craft project, decoration, or for Constitution Day celebrations.
