Paper Ashoka Chakra Craft
Materials Needed
- 1 square piece of blue paper
- A pair of scissors
- Pencil (optional)
Step 1: Make Creases
- Fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically,
then unfold.
- Fold diagonally both ways, then unfold. You should see
8 lines coming from the center.
(Tip: These lines will help you cut
the spokes evenly!)
Step 2: Fold for Cutting
- Bring all four corners to the center.
- Fold the new smaller square in half twice.
- Fold it diagonally into a triangle. You now have a thick
triangle ready for cutting.
Step 3: Draw and Cut Spokes
- The triangle’s tip is the center of your chakra.
- Lightly draw 16–24 spokes from tip to the outer edge.
- Carefully cut along the lines. Precision matters – it
makes your chakra look neat!
Step 4: Unfold and Finish
- Slowly unfold the paper.
- Flatten gently.
- Your Ashoka Chakra is ready! Use it in a craft project,
decoration, or for Constitution Day celebrations.
