Indore Railway Station Redevelopment meet@ June 20
Indore will host a key meeting on June 20 to unveil detailed plans for the redevelopment of its railway station. The session at the AICTSL office will bring together MP Shankar Lalwani, railway officials, city representatives, and citizens to review designs and strategies aimed at transforming the station into a modern, airport-like facility.
While much of the attention is on infrastructure, the meeting will also touch on issues related to urban planning and integration with other transport services. Stakeholders say the project aims to serve as a model for future transit-oriented development in Tier-2 cities. Alongside the main station, Lakshmibai Nagar station will also be developed to improve city connectivity.
Officials expect the redevelopment to enhance passenger amenities, traffic management, and urban integration, marking a new chapter in Indore’s transit development. The meeting aims to build consensus for smooth project execution.
