Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board (MPSOS) will conduct the first phase of examinations for June 2025 beginning from June 2. These exams are particularly significant for thousands of students from Indore who are participating under the ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ and ‘Aa Laut Chalein’ schemes, which provide crucial opportunities for students who have either failed their previous exams or dropped out of school for various reasons.
The number of students enrolled under the ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ and ‘Aa Laut Chalein’ schemes has grown in recent years in Indore. In the previous academic cycle, around 10,000 students from Indore took part in the ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ scheme, while hundreds of dropouts enrolled under the ‘Aa Laut Chalein’ program.
To ensure smooth conduct of the exams, the MPSOS has set up 20 examination centres across Indore.
Examination Schedule and Participation
The exams will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM will cover Class 12 exams, while the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM will focus on Class 10, 8, and 5 exams. In total, over 10,000 students from Indore are expected to attempt the exams, including candidates enrolled under the ‘Ruk Jana Nahi’ scheme, the ‘Aa Laut Chalein’ program, and traditional Open School students.
This year’s exam cycle will also see students who had previously been unable to take their exams due to various reasons, including financial constraints, illness, or other personal issues, given a second chance. With over 14,000 students from Indore failing or missing out on their exams last year, this opportunity is critical for them to continue their education without further delay.
