Immersed in joy of welcoming Lord Ram back to his birth-place in Ayodhya, Indore smeared in hopeful shades of saffron, echoed with Ram, Siya and Hanuman Bhajans on Monday. Not just Hindus, but Christians and Muslims also took the day off work to immerse in the colours of joy.
Congratulatory messages from everyone floated in texts, posters, music and saffron painted streets. Almost every corner of Indore ringed in the chants of Rama as all the temples organised Prabhat Pheris, i.e. processions where hymns were sung.
