With wedding season restarting, many small ventures taken over by women are back in business. In order to further cater to the latest possibilities, women have come up with innovative ideas. While masks have been trending for quite some time, now the new trend is wedding masks with various arts, paintings and designs showcasing weddings.
Depicting that the family is bride’s family, a special series of masks depicting a loving welcome are being created. The group of ‘Baratis’ wearing special dancing and celebratory masks are equally in a part of this fad.
The trend further extends to the gifts hampers wherein women are customising packages for weddings.
“Finally, it’s a sigh of relief as business picks up again after covid-19 outbreak for the first time,” Ekta Mehta, preparing custom masks, said.
“We can customize the simplest of things into wedding specials with art and this skill of mine is finally back into use,” Sakshi Jagariya said.
Another entrepreneur Mahima Sharma with her team Rashika and Khushi were seen joyously celebrating their success. “After two years of standstill, we are finally back and quickly recovering,” they said.
Roli Bansal, another entrepreneur, said, “The market has bounced back since Diwali and now, with wedding season, it’s slowly gearing up and we have high hopes from 2022.”
