Christmas Christianity celebrations: Joining the universal Catholic Church, the Catholic Diocese of Indore will celebrate the First Sunday of Advent, by lighting the Purple colour candle on November 28, 2021 known as the First Sunday of Advent.

Joining the universal Catholic Church, the Catholic Diocese of Indore will celebrate the First Sunday of Advent, by lighting the Purple colour candle on November 28, 2021 known as the First Sunday of Advent.
Every Sunday of Advent lights a special candle.
First candle: Prophet's candle symbolizing hope will be lit on November 28, 2021. This is purple in colour.
Second candle: Bethlehem's candle symbolizing faith and love will be lit on December 5, 2021. This is purple in colour.
Third candle: Shepherd's candle symbolizing joy will be lit on December 12, 2021. This is pink in colour.
Fourth candle: Angel's candle symbolizing peace will be lit on December 19, 2021. This is purple in colour.
Fifth candle: Christ's candle symbolizing light and purity will be lit on December 24, 2021. This is white in colour.
All the nine Catholic Churches of Indore will celebrate this by lighting a purple coloured candle symbolising prophecy of hope, at their respective churches.
At the Red church the holy mass schedule is at 07:00 am, 08:30 am and 05:30 pm.
