Madhya Pradesh: The dispute between Ralamandal SDO and the forest intensified further on Sunday

The dispute between Ralamandal SDO and the forest intensified further on Sunday. By pressurizing the eyewitnesses, the statements given by the witnesses were changed.

On Sunday, divisional forest officer (DFO) reached the sanctuary to inquire about the developments on Sunday.

During interrogation, eyewitnesses changed their statements and denied any conversation where anyone was threatened about shooting another.

On the other hand, some forest workers were busy in attempts to settle the matter. The idea is to suppress the matter and keep it down by coming to a settlement.

What was the conflict?

On Saturday, there was a dispute between SDO Dinesh Vaskel and employee Devendra Tomar over the issue of imposing duty at the main gate.

Immediately after the incident, the employee Tomar complained at Tejaji Nagar police station. In the complaint, the SDO first said abusive words and then talked about shooting. SDO Vaskell denied the allegations on Sunday.

Sarla Sondia and Vikas Yogi were eyewitnesses.

Manipulation of witness?

According to sources, both SDO Vaskel and Vikas went to the hunting ground at nine o'clock on Saturday night.

After talking for an hour, he got down from there. The development in the sanctuary has been hired by an outsourcing agency to run gypsies for the safari. On the other hand, Sarla is a forest guard, whose duty remains till 11 am.

According to sanctuary employees who requested anonymity, two deputy rangers are pressurizing Sarla to give a statement in favour of the SDO.

The CCTV footage installed at the main gate of the sanctuary has also been tampered.

Sources claim pressure on DFO

Apart from the eyewitnesses, pressure has been put on DFO Narendra Pandwa, some sources claimed. According to sources, some people in favour of the SDO are contacting the DFO.

The complainant is the nephew of Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar. Due to this, information about the incident has reached the ministry as well.

Statements recorded

On Sunday, DFO Pandava reached Ralamandal at 12 noon and started recording the statement. First questioned Tomar and then told the incident.

As per statements yesterday, Sarla was cutting tickets during the dispute.

“I arrived at the gate when there was noise. I don't know that the SDO said abusive words,” Sarla said.

She added there was no such thing conversation on shooting another. The special thing is that the SDO was present there during the statement.

Divisional Antarsingh Base and District President of Forest Employees Union Dinesh Sharma said, “On Monday, a fair and high-level inquiry will be demanded from the CCF in the entire matter. By the way, pressure is being put on the eyewitnesses. This is totally wrong.”

Will take a decision after the report comes

“The investigation into the dispute has started. The statements of the complainant and the eyewitnesses have been recorded. However, a decision will be taken after the report is received.”
