A complaint regarding the irregularities in the tender invited for forestry material in the Forest Division, Indore was made to the Divisional Officer, Indore, on Thursday.
It is worth noting that in 2020-21, a tender was issued for the material, in which the work was to be given by fixing the priority according to the material rate. While not giving work to the firm coming in the first order by the Forest Board, the firm which came in the second order was given the work.
As per the information, tenders were invited for the material in the year 2020-2021 for forestry work in the forest division.
In which many firms had participated, according to the rules, according to the appropriate scale and rate and after the comparative process, the rate of the firm which is approved is given.
“Keeping them first, but it has been learned through the daily newspapers that the forest division Indore bypassing this process has given this task to the second number firm, from which it is clear that any kind of financial error has been done in it,” Abhijeet Pandey, legal activist, wrote in the complaint letter.
Narendra Pandwa, divisional forest officer, Indore will start investigation into the matter from next week.
