Madhya Pradesh: 6,800 applications under RTE submitted; 12,500 to be given admission in Indore

A dream to study in a large private school will come true for more than twelve and a half thousand underprivileged children through admissions under Right to Education Act this year. More than 6,800 applications have already been submitted.

Applications will be accepted for another 5 days. Under RTE, the process of online application is going on for admission in the first class of private schools, while the documents of the applicants are also being verified.

This time, following the corona guideline, verification work is being done at 10 public education centres in the city.

Effective implementation of RTE is being ensured in the district. Under this act, there is a provision for free admission to the children of selected castes and classes in private schools.

This year more than twelve and a half thousand children will be given free admission in the district. So far 6,800 applications have been submitted through the portal. The last date for online application is June 30.

In this regard, the format of the online application form has been made available on the RTE portal. After filling the application form on the portal, the process of its verification is also being completed simultaneously.

This time, the verification is not being done at Block Resource Coordinator office. It is being done at Jan Shiksha Kendras.

BRC no. Government schools under 1 are Malav Kanya Moti Tabela, Sharda Kanya Bada Ganpati, Kasturba Subhash Chowk, Bijalpur and Bal Sanyogitaganj and BRC no. 2 schools covered under Maharaja Shivajirao.

How to apply for RTE seats?

Any one document related to eligibility has to be uploaded along with the form. After the online application, applicants will have to get the documents verified from the authorized Verifying Officer in the respective cluster centre school within the same period.

The applicant has filed R.T.E. For free admission in the category or residential area through which admission is sought, the verification of that category and residence proof will be done with the relevant original certificate.

In case of any problem or difficulty in applying online, the BRC (block resource coordinator) office of the concerned block can be contacted.
