Indore can soon become happiest, healthiest along with cleanest city of India says Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, as he interacts with MP Shankar Lalwani in Madhya Pradesh on Yoga day

Among five determinants of happiness, Indore has almost all of them but needs to essentially work on ‘contentment’ among people now to become happiest city of the country. Stating this, spiritual guru and founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar addressed gathering of thousands of Indoris online on Sunday.

On the request of member of parliament Shankar Lalwani, Sri Sri interacted with Indoreans, gave mantras of happiness and motivated people to get vaccinated.

Lalwani also did yoga, meditation on the occasion and urged people to get vaccinated. He thanked Sri Sri for accepting his invite and urged him to share the mantra to be healthy and happy amidst Corona.

“I am proud that Indore has been selected has cleanest city of India four times. With vaccination touching 90 percent, Indore will also become healthiest city,” Sri Sri said. He added that without physical, mental and emotional well-being, we cannot call someone well.

“Indore set between two jyotirlinga, Mahakal and Omkareshwar, is a blessed city of the country. People troubled with fear of corona are suffering a lot more,” Sri Sri said. He added that it is possible to heal from this using yoga and prayer only.

“If we can make the efforts, practise yoga and pray, then we can find success and peace,” Sri Sri said. He added that one can attain contentment and become truly happy.

How to become Happiest city of the country?

“People gave been talking about happiness index, and how Indore wants to become happiest city of India,” Sri Sri said.

He added that first part of happiness is cleanliness and second is contentment. Third is Tapa, i.e. control. Then comes education and then comes devotion. “Indore has almost all but just needs to work on contentment,” Sri Sri said.

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. School Education Department issued an advisory to all the school heads and officers regarding precautions to be taken against the deadly novel coronavirus to prevent the spread of infection among school children.
