Madhya Pradesh: Careers in Indian Defense Services: Free training for SSCT in Indore for Army widows from July 1

The Indian Army invites the applications for grant of Short Service Commission Tech (SSCW Tech 28) from Widows of Defence Personnel who died in Harness.

Course is expected to commence from October 2021 at The Officers Training Academy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Retd Colonel Nikhil Diwanji said, “the training period will be of 49 weeks after which the passed out lady cadets will be commissioned as Lieutenant in The Indian Army and may be posted to any part of the country or to foreign postings as well.”

Diwanji who trains Defence Aspirants for SSBs in Indore said, “During the 5 days of SSB INTERVIEW the cadets will be examined by 2 screening tests, 4 psychological tests, 1 personal interview and 9 more group testing officer's tests.”

He added that the SSB Training of the Aspiring War Widows will commence from 01 July 2021 in Indore and will not be charged any fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Age Limit:

· Widows of Defence Personnels who died in Harness, aged 34 years or less are eligible for SSCW (Non UPSC) (Non Tech) and SSCW (Tech) Entry.

· Educational Qualification:

[a] For SSCW (Non UPSC) (Non Tech) Entry: Graduation in any discipline.

[b] For SSCW (Tech) Entry: B.E / B. Tech in any Engineering stream.

· A detailed notification of SSCW_Tech_28 can be downloaded from www.joinindianarmy.nic.in .

· Online applications are accepted from 25 May 2021 at 1500hrs to 23 June 2021 at 1500hrs.

· The SSB Interview of the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at one of the selection centres viz. ALLAHABAD (UP), BHOPAL (MP), BENGALURU (KARNATAKA) and KAPURTHALA (PUNJAB).
