Madhya Pradesh (MP) National Cadet Corps (NCC) Girls Battalion organised an essay competition on the theme ‘Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar: Father of the Indian Constitution’. The competition was held online with all the cadets submitting their write-ups and discussing the theme.
About 44 NCC cadets from various private and government schools submitted their essays sharing different objectives and views about Ambedkar.
The event was organised to underline the contribution of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in the framing of the Constitution.
NCC officer (first officer) Savita Kharadkar who organised and coordinated the event said, “Commanders and other officers of the NCC Battalion addressed the cadets and motivated them reminding their duties towards the nation.” She added that these activities even while we are unable to conduct offline events are helpful for students.
Kharadkar is incharge for NCC cadets in Daly College. The top 10 essays will be selected from submitted 44 entries and will be rewarded.
