In suicide case of self-styled godman Bhaiyyu Maharaj's daughter Kuhu tells court that she has no idea about property and income of the trust account run by her deceased father. Kuhu recorded her statements in court on Thursday disclosing details about the suicide case.
In her statements, Kuhu said that she does not know where the money comes from in the trust and have no idea about the property details.
Further, in her statement, Kuhu said that the signature on suicide note was of her father. She added that her expenses are being taken care of by her relatives.
In her statements, Kuhu shared that her step-mother Aayushi has just paid her travelling and accommodation expenses amounting to Rs 50,000 since her father (Maharaj) passed away.
Take note, Maharaj had reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself on June 12, 2018. Nearly six months after the case, the police arrested their servants Vinayak Dudhale, Sharad Deshmukh and Palak Puranik under sections of abetment to suicide and blackmailing.
The accused have since been in jail. As statements of witnesses could not be recorded, this case has not been moving forward as quickly as instructed by Supreme Court.
The statements of Aayushi, wife of Bhayyu Maharaj, have not been recorded in court.
Until the statements of Maharaj's kith and kings are complete, other witnesses will not be called for deposition.
