Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) began class 10th supplementary board examination from Tuesday. As per the time-table, the exam would be conducted from September 15 to September 22, 2020 from 9 am to 12 am at 27 centres in Indore.
Students attempted ‘Second and third language – Sanskrit’ examination on Tuesday. The number of students attempting the exam was fairly low, an indication that most students were able to perform fairly well in the subject in their first attempt.
On September 15, i.e. today, students who could not clear Mathematics will be attempting the supplementary exam.
In class 10th, the passing percentage of MPBSE was 62.3%, which was a percent higher than last year.
In Indore, 16,136 regular candidates failed in a subject or two and will be attending supplementary examination. In private candidates, 4,742 students received supplementary and will be attending the examination.
The examination was balanced as shared by students. Most reviews from students showed confidence and optimism to clear the examination with fairly good marks.
There were no cases of cheating reported, as shared by divisional officer Deven Sonwani.
