Enrolments for MPBSE class 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th started: Mobile app to make the process more convenient

Enrolments for Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th has begun. The process of registrations will be easier and more convenient this year. With the outspread of coronavirus, as it is suggested to stay home and maintain social distancing, going to MP online kiosk is not suggested. Hence, this year MPBSE is preparing mobile application for enrolments. By logging into the mobile applications, students can directly complete the enrolment process.  As shared by divisional officer Deven Sonwani, the last date for enrolling for academic session 2020-21 will be August 12, 2020. MPBSE Supplementary Examination timetable for class 12th & class 10th

Those students who could not clear the board examination in their first attempt have another chance to clear the pending exams and save their year. In view of giving students enough time to prepare, Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) announced supplementary dates for class 12th.  Class 12th supplementary examination for all the subjects will be held on 14 September.  The supplementary examination of the students of class 10th will start from September 15. Online classes only, but pay fee in full at Delhi Public School: Troubled parents register more than 50 individual complaints with DEO

More than 50 parents of Delhi Public School (DPS) filed individual complaints against the school's harassment and refusal to refund or adjust the annual fee already paid for the academic session 2020-21 to District Education Officer on Thursday. Complaints were raised against both DPS Indore and DPS Rau. Most of the complaints raised the issue of school fee and urged DEO to redefine fee and other essential guidelines for online classes. As per latest orders of Madhya Pradesh High Court, schools are only allowed to collect tuition fee and further, no students can be expelled for unpaid fee. DPS not refunding and adjusting annual fee was cited as contempt of court's order. Further, citing removal of students from online class groups if it means expelling students, parents quoted it as contempt of court. The passing percentage of government schools yet again was recorded over private schools in Indore and even state. The overall passing percentage of government school students was 71.43 percent.  The overall passing percentage of non-government/private school students was 64.93 percent. The tale of a man eater Tigress to caring mother In 2018, two human casualties were reported in Katni Forest Division within duration of one month. A female with two sub adults was spotted moving in the area.  On 15th April 2018, a big rescue operation was done by BTR (Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve) team and all three tigers were captured and shifted to Behara enclosure of Magdhi range.  The mother was shifted to Bathan enclosure of Tala range, as it was not suitable to release her back into the wild. If you are among 13,011 students in Indore, who could not pass the class 12th Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Examination (MPBSE) examinations, then don’t be disheartened. They have another chance to clear the examination with Madhya Pradesh's Ruk Jana Nahi Scheme. This is only valid for Class 10 and 12 students. The scheme has been specifically introduced to promote those who have failed in the board exams. The board exams of students who have failed in class 10 and 12 will be held on August 17, 2020. Class 10 students can apply till July 28, while Class 12 students can apply till August 05. Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is all set to announce the result of class 12th on July 27 at 3 pm. Students who attempted the board examinations 2019-20 that were conducted pre and post lockdown in two session will finally get their result. The ongoing COVID-19 crisis has delayed both exams and declaration of MP board results this year. Previously, MPBSE had to postpone Class 12 final exams due to the nationwide lockdown enforced to stop the spread of COVID-19. Class 12 final exams of MPBSE were finally conducted from June 9 to June 16. In anticipation of results, students are jittery and nervous. NTA reopens correction window for 'JEE Main 2020 September attempt' till July 31

National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the correction window for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) 2020. The window will be open till July 31, 2020.  The second JEE Main exam for the year is scheduled from September 1 to September 6. UPSC has scheduled NDA exam on September 6.  This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, UPSC has decided to conduct both the NDA-NA exams in one session, in September, making it all the more important to aspirants. NTA had initially provided the applicants with the opportunity to mention in their applications whether they would be appearing for UPSC NDA exam in September. The edit window was open from July 4 to July 20. However, some applicants missed the deadline and NTA has opened the correction window again. CBSE released CTET list of qualified candidates in online mode

Central Board of Secondary Education released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) list of qualified candidates in online mode on Friday. The result is in the form of the PDF and it comprises the detail of all those candidates who appeared for the CTET exam from 2014- 2016.  On the official website of CTET, CBSE has mentioned that the CTET exam did not take place in 2017. Successful candidates can download the pdf of CTET 2014, CTET 2015 and CTET 2016 results.  ? All the qualified candidates who clear the CTET exam, they are eligible to apply for the post of teachers in central schools like NVS, KVS and Army schools. However, they need to also clear the selection round of the school to which they have applied to.  CTET is conducted twice every year by the CBSE for all those candidates who are aspiring to make their career in the teaching profession. First appeal for rejected school affiliation via video conferencing due to covid-19

First appeal hearing for private school’s whose affiliation applications were rejected today i.e. Friday July 24, as informed by Joint Director of School Education Department (Indore) Manish Verma. The hearing will be heard via video conferencing to avoid social gathering and keep safe distance to control the spread of coronavirus.  This is perhaps for the first time that the appeal for school affiliation will be heard via video conferencing. The first appeal hearing is for schools which had applied for fresh affiliations for academic year 2020-21.  This year, 49 out of 50 schools that had applied for affiliation for academic year 2020-21 have been rejected under the first inspection by school education department. Representing about 10,000 parents from Indore, four representatives reached Bhopal and appealed to minister of state for school education Inder Singh Parmar to set an appropriate fee to be collected by schools for online classes.  The four parent representatives advocate Chanchal Gupta, Satish Sharma, Sachin Sharma and Deepak Sharma met with the minister discussing issues faced by parents. Rescued leopard from Nayapura can't see: was it injured in infighting or hunting attempt?

Recently, an injured leopard as rescued from Nayapura forest of Kampel. The leopard was seriously injured in this battle of supremacy, which was rescued by the Forest Department team and taken to the city zoo Indore. Though it was reported to have been injured in infighting, it seems doubtful as only leopard’s face and mouth was injured.  The injured leopard is being treated in Indore city zoo, but its condition is risky. On the positive note, the leopard is eating properly. However, he seems to have lost vision in both his eyes permanently.  City zoo in-charge Dr Uttam Yadav is still hoping to restore his eye sight. The leopard needs to be taken to the state veterinary hospital in Bhopal for MRI. A group of three pharmacists have developed a unique marked design of ‘Thin Layer Chromatographic (TLC) Plate’ to ease scientific experiments. The trio Dr Neelesh Malviya, Dr Sapna Malviya and Rajiv Saxena received patent for the technology from government of India for the unique design.  The design was developed at Smriti College of Pharmaceutical Education, Indore. “TLC technique is widely used by researchers, scientists, academicians, students of almost all the areas of science for the identification and separation of molecules of interest,” Malviya said. He explained that TLC is a chromatography technique used to separate non-volatile mixtures. How does TLC technique work? The experiment is conducted on a sheet of aluminium foil, plastic, or glass which is coated with a thin layer of adsorbent material.
