Janki Dadi passed away, leaving behind her memories & love for Indore


Janki Dadi, the chief of Brahmakumaris Sansthan, one of the world’s largest spiritual organisation run by women, passed away at the age of 104 after prolonged illness on Friday.
Her followers all over the country including Brahmakumaris (BK) in Indore grieved on her demise.
She breathed her last at 2 a.m. on Friday at a hospital in Mount Abu. She was suffering from respiratory and stomach-related problems for the last two months, the official statement from BK said.
Her last rites will be performed on Friday at a ground located in Shanti Van campus of BK headquarters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over her demise.
Hemlata Didi, the chief regional coordinator of Indore zone BK, said, “Janaki dadi had a special love for Indore, so she came to Indore three times after becoming the chief administrator.”
She added that Janki dadi had come to Indore 3 months back December 22. “Janki dadi was in Indore to attend the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Indore Zone and participated in many other programs over the years,” Hemlata said.
Janki dadi had built and inaugurated, Divine Wisdom named spiritual art gallery in Gyanashkhar Om Shanti Bhawan, Indore.

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. School Education Department issued an advisory to all the school heads and officers regarding precautions to be taken against the deadly novel coronavirus to prevent the spread of infection among school children.
