After PM Narendra Modi announced lockdown for 21 days, Madhya Pradesh Pashim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran's director Vikas Narwal announced the followingdecisions also for consumer convenience:
Due to lockdown, consumers whose meter reading has not done recorded by the due date, their bills will be made on the basis of prior month readings on a provisional basis. On receipt of the next month's readings, the amount paid provisionally will be automatically adjusted.
In the event of lock down, the distribution of electricity bills will not be possible, consumers can download their bills from the company's web site. Consumers who have registered their mobile numbers, the information of the bill will also be sent to the mobile number.
Consumers can pay their dues from the company's website or from urjas mobile app, Paytm, Google, phone, online, or from mponline's kiosk or website.
