Coronavirus outbreak: 'Baby Doll' famed Kanika Kapoor gets trolled for hiding her travel details as she tests positive for COVID-19
'Baby Doll' famed Kanika Kapoor, who returned to India from London 10 days ago, was trolled and criticised by social media activists after she tested positive for COVID-19.
Posts suggesting that Kanika had hid her travel details upon returning from London and had partied at a hotel with nearly 100 people went viral.
Leaving no stones unturned and quoting COVID-19 as infection propagated by ‘literate idiots’ slammed the singer for risking other people’s lives and tagged her as ‘irresponsible’. Some prominent netizens shared their take with Free Press about the issue:
“KanikaKapoor the famed ‘baby doll’ once again proved that in India, illiteracy is not a problem but educated stupidity is the biggest problem. I feel terrible for the entire country. We are following such people, who don’t care about anyone but themselves.”

“The baby doll would have done better if she stayed in the world of plastic. I find it astonishing that people can be so careless and stupid. Her irresponsible behaviour also risks the life of President of India now!”
Vanshika R Gangwani
Associate professor
“We need to improve our education system if this is what educated people are turning out to be like. I don’t understand what is so difficult to understand when it is clear that COVID-19 is communicable!”
Dr Shyamli Chowdhury

“I feel sorry for our entire country, which is infected by such literate people. We are better off with people, who have simple minds and can understand instructions.”
Bindiya Sood
School administrator
“Kanika Kapoor is an example of how one idiotic move can risk hundreds and in turn even millions of lives. I pray that we at least learn from the ‘literate idiot’. I think people are taking COVID-19 infection too lightly. We don’t understand that the infection can wipe out an entire nation.”
Richa Dwivedi
Homemaker
“Is this a trick to reduce Indian population Kanika? It seems that the entire Bollywood industry is filled with literate idiots? I really don’t know what else to say except pray for wellness of Indians.”
