Students presented an array of colourful performances on the nine emotions known as ‘Navras’

Themed on the nine emotions known as ‘Navras’, St. Arnold's Hr Sec School, Vijay Nagar, pre-primary section presented an array of dance forms.
Chief guest Rev Sr Jancy Joseph (SSPS), principal of St Raphael's H.S. School, Indore, quoted the importance of celebrating every emotion in life; pain or pleasure. She added that academics goes hand-in-hand with cultural activities. Hence, both are equally important for students.
Guest of honour Swati Solanki, deputy manager (HR), Coal India Limited, shared her experiences of life, when good times always follow bad ones.
The dignitaries accompanied by members of the school management committee were escorted by the students' council members to their seats on stage. Rev Fr Pious Cyriac (SVD) formally introduced the concept of program and appreciated students’ for their efforts.
To mark the occasion, a variety of dances such as Bhakti Ras (Prayer Dance), Shringar Ras, Karuna Ras, Hasya Ras, Vatsalya Ras, Adhbhut Ras, Rhodra Ras, Bibhatsya Ras, Bhayanak Ras (Devil Dance), Shant Ras and Veer Ras were organized.
Prizes were given to school teachers Lucy D'Souza and Premlata George for completing twenty five years of their services to this institution.
Rudra Bansal, student of KG-I-B thanked the school dignitaries and guests and expressed the joy of organising the program on behalf of students.
