As we gear up for 2020, it is time to take a pledge for a better life and Fit India Ambassador Aarti Maheshwari urges people to take the fitness pledge. In a fitness camp organised by Residency Garden Aerobics Club, Aarti representing World of Fitness headed the fun zumba and physical training activities.
Motivating the participants, she also addressed the gathering explaining various benefits of fitness and tricks to have a disciplined workout.
“In this fast running world, we do not have much time, in fact, it feels the day flies away in glimpse, but about 30 minutes in a day for yourself can actually do more for you than you realise,” Aarti said. She elaborated that one can not only be physically fit with exercise, but also help us in staying peaceful.
“All your anger and negative energy can be burned off in a good workout, so we must take the Fitness Pledge to make our life healthier and happier,” Aarti said.
She shared the fitness pledge which was taken by the participants. Pledge: "I promise to myself that I will devote time for physical activity and sports every day and I will encourage my family members and neighbours to be physically fit and make India a fit nation".
The event was coordinated by Dheeraj Kaushal.
