In the Modern Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Modern Group of Institutes, Alvasa, Indore), on Wednesday, 25 September, celebrated World Pharmacist Day in a unique way, a human capsule was made and recorded its name in the World Book Record. It constituted the largest human image of a drug capsule for 15 minutes by participants, with approximately 1000 participants. The provisional certificate of record has been presented to institute chairman Anil Kharia, mentor Arun Kharia, vice chairman of the institute Shantanu Kharia, Shivanshu Kharia and Dr Punit kumar Dwivedi by Vikram Trivedi High Court Advocate, Dr Pradeep Mishra (Adjudicator, WBR, London). along with MP-Indore Shankar Lalwani.
Kharia, while explaining the specifics of generic medicines, said that it is the duty of a pharmacist to keep people healthy and provide benefits like branded medicines in less cost. Just like air, water and food, medicines are the basic necessity of life and also. It is an integral part of human life. Pharmacists have an important role in curing a sick person, a pharmacist always works behind the scenes.
