Acting upon the complaint filed by school principal Priti Chouhan at Zila Panchyat (ZP) and District Education Office, ZP CEO (chief executive officer) Neha Meena suspended the officer and hoped to set an example of the case.
The written complaint signed by 26 teachers was submitted at the offices demanding action against Shanik Jain, who is working as a clerk in Government School, Bijalpur was submitted last week.
Jain had abused Piyush Goyal, online transaction in-charge and Priti.
“Goyal, who is physically challenged, is responsible for all the online work including downloading of bills and salary lists,” Priti said. Due to online errors, many a times, some teachers are missing in the list and hence, their salaries are settled by mid-month.
“Last year, even my salary had similar issue, so I got my salary on Aug 14, and this time, Jain’s salary had similar issue,” Priti said. Irked by the delay in salary, Jain called up Goyal and abused him.
“Further, he called and abused me as well, which we have on record,” Priti said. This was the last streak as a written complaint to state education director Jaishree Kiyawat will also be submitted regarding the same next week.
