Taking serious note of growing complaints regarding the arbitrary pricing of books, stationery, and uniforms, the Indore district administration has moved to protect parents from financial exploitation.

Reports have surfaced alleging that several schools are overcharging or compelling parents to purchase specific brands from designated vendors, leading to significant financial strain at the start of the new session.

Strict Action Against Violators

Collector Shivam Verma stated that the Education Department will promptly investigate all grievances received through the new portal. Institutions found violating norms or pressuring parents into specific purchases will face strict administrative action.
