Winter Solstice Magic on Dec 21, 2025: Light, Magic & Winter Fun
TINA KHATRI
Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the slow return of sunlight. This activity sheet brings the season to life with hands-on, creative, and educational experiences for kids.
Children can start by making Cinnamon Sugar Toast, a simple, warm treat. Next, they can read and colour a short winter poem, capturing the quiet magic of snowy nights. Finally, the “Magical Winter Solstice at the North Pole” fill-in-the-blank activity blends Arctic facts with imagination, building vocabulary and grammar skills.
Together, these activities offer a fun, engaging way to celebrate the solstice, explore winter wonders, and enjoy a taste of seasonal magic at home or in the classroom.

Winter Poem
Whose lights these are I think I see,
They twinkle bright on every tree.
The solstice night is cold and clear,
A time for magic, hope, and cheer.
The snowflakes dance, the stars shine bright,
The world is calm in silver light.
But though the night is dark and deep,
We keep our wishes while we sleep.
