Stat’s the Fact! — Solve Clues, Score Points, Outsmart the Competition
Objective
Sharpen your sleuthing skills and guess statistical data from clever clues.
What You’ll Need
• Clue Cards (with fun facts and stats)
• A scoreboard
• Pens and brains
How to Play
1. Divide into Teams
Group up into teams of 3–5 members.
2. Prepare the Clues
Write interesting statistical clues like:
o “Population over 330 million” → United States
o “Unemployment below 2%” → Qatar
3. Read the Clues Aloud
Each team has 1–2 minutes to think and guess.
4. Score That Guess
Correct answer? Your team scores a point.
5. Track Scores
Keep the competition fierce and fun.
6. Crown the Champs
The team with the most points wins the game—and the glory!
Sample Clue Cards
• "Home to the Taj Mahal" → India
• "Life expectancy over 87 years" → Monaco
• "Largest economy by GDP" → United States
Slice, Stats & Sweetness! — The Only Pie Where Fractions Taste Fantastic
Objective
Mix math with dessert by baking a pie that doubles as a visual data chart.
You’ll Need
• 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
• 2 cups fruit filling (apple, blueberry, etc.)
• Toppings for sections (fruit, chocolate chips, icing)
• A pie dish and an oven
Instructions
1. Prep Your Crust
Preheat oven to 175°C. Roll out the dough, place in dish, and trim edges.
2. Add Filling
Pour in your chosen filling. Spread evenly.
3. Bake
Pop it in for 45–60 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let it cool.
4. Design Your Pie Chart
Lightly score sections with a knife (for example: 40%-30%-20%-10%).
5. Decorate Each “Data Slice”
o 40% Apple slices
o 30% Blueberries
o 20% Strawberries
o 10% Chocolate chips
Use icing to draw borders and label the percentages.
6. Serve with Stats
Slice up the fun and explain your chart as you enjoy dessert.
Solve It, Shade It, Ship It! — A Math-tastic Voyage
Objective
Practice arithmetic while revealing a colorful picture of a majestic ship.
How It Works
1. Solve math problems—addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
2. Match each solution to a color using a key.
3. Color in each section accordingly.
4. Watch as your answers unveil a hidden image of a ship sailing the seas.
Bonus Challenge
Create a backstory for your ship once it’s revealed. Where is it sailing? Who’s the captain? What treasure might be aboard?
