Indore's students celebrated their remarkable success in the ICSE Class 10 examinations, as the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) unveiled the results on Wednesday. The city has set an exceptional benchmark this year, with Ansh Awasthi emerging as the topper, securing an impressive 98.4%. His achievement has raised the bar for academic excellence in Indore.
Following closely behind are Anshika Agrawal and Shubhaan Majumder, both with an outstanding 96.8%, showcasing a strong pool of high achievers. The overall performance reveals a notable concentration of students in the 95%+ range, with Angel Sethia (95.8%) and Syed Mohd Aamil (95.4%) among the top scorers. As we move down the list, the scores show a steady distribution, with Yashasvi Khandelwal (94.2%) and Preet Kumawat (93.6%) demonstrating solid results. Even the lowest notable score, Zainab Jaorwala at 88.9%, reflects a commendable achievement.

Ansh Awasthi, with a stellar 98.4%, has emerged as the Indore topper in the ICSE Class 10 exams. Reflecting on his success, Ansh shares, “It feels amazing to see my hard work pay off. Science has always been my passion, and I’m thrilled to continue my journey in engineering.” Ansh is already preparing for the JEE exams, with his eyes set on a future in engineering.
Ansh attributes his success to the balance he maintains between academics and personal activities. “I’ve always believed that balance is key. In class 6 and 7, I played chess at the national level, which taught me time management and strategy. Now, football and cricket are my go-to ways to relax,” he explains.
Supported by his family—his father, Manish Awasthi, a telecom engineer, and his mother, Rajana Awasthi, an astrologer—Ansh adds, “My parents have always encouraged me to work hard, but they’ve also taught me the importance of enjoying life.”
His advice for future students? “Stay consistent and stay focused. But remember, you need time for things you love too—balance is everything.
