The new academic session in Indore district will officially begin on April 1st, 2025, as per the schedule set by the state government. On the first day, an entrance ceremony will be held across all government schools to welcome students. The event will mark the beginning of a new educational journey for students, with special arrangements made to ensure a smooth transition.
Collector Ashish Singh has issued instructions for the completion of 100% student enrolment by March 25th. This includes students from class 1 to class 7, who will be promoted to classes 2 to 8, and students from class 8 to class 11, who will be advancing to classes 9 to 12. To ensure no student is left behind, a door-to-door campaign will be carried out at every school level to identify and enrol school dropouts.
In addition to enrolment, the distribution of textbooks will begin promptly when the session starts, ensuring students have the necessary materials for their studies. A school management committee meeting will also be organized to discuss the upcoming session's goals and strategies for improving student performance.
Singh emphasized the importance of joyful learning during class operations and instructed schools to incorporate local, thematic, and skill development project work during the summer vacation. The focus will be on creating an engaging learning environment while adhering to the prescribed syllabus.
On the first day of school, newly admitted students will be warmly welcomed by their peers, with senior students taking the initiative to greet their juniors. As part of the entrance ceremony celebrations, a special meal will be served to students.
These efforts aim to kick off the new academic year with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all students in Indore district.
