Indore’s students shine in CISCE results for class 10 & class 12  Shravi, Juzer, Kamad & Suhani shine in ISC; Hardik bags first place in ICSE Taking the baton of success, students in Indore excelled Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination for Class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class 12 results declared by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Monday. This year, a total of 2,43,617 (ICSE) and 99,901(ISC) students appeared for both exams across multiple centres nationwide. The overall pass percentage for the ICSE exam is 99.47%, and the ISC exam is 98.19%. Indore also saw a high percentage of passing among students. Exotic pets protected under schedule IV now, registration is must! The days of enjoying ownership of exotic animals with zero to minimal rules are over as they are now protected under schedule IV of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. In a latest notification and submission, Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh announced the amendment. Hence, now any pet owners of exotic species should mandatorily register the details of the animals in the newly developed portal Parivesh 2.0 of the Union ministry of environment, forests, and climate change under Live Animal Species (Reporting and Registration) Rules, 2024. Initially, the government had started this process by seeking registerations of all pets. Now, it is compulsory that people who acquire exotic mammals, reptiles, and birds should register within 30days. MP forests on fire, 550 incidents of delayed action Quick action@ Ralamandal saves the sanctuary With rising temperatures, Madhya Pradesh forests are under threat due to frequent forest fires, reportedly over 550 in 1.5 month. To add another one incident to the list, Ralamandal Sanctuary caught fire on Thursday. The fire started due to a fault in the DP located near Gate No. 2. Luckily, the forest workers were active and noticed the fire. Taking swift action, the fire was controlled before it could spread further. On the other hand, the state has noted 550 incidents, in which forest personnel were too slow to take action resulting in destruction of forest. Also, many forest areas in the Indore division have reported four fire incidents in fifteen days.
