Madhya Pradesh: Rajya Shiksha Kendra: school affiliation process overflows last date by a week in Indore
This year has been a year of delays and stress for new schools that plan to open their doors for students in Indore. Over 75 new schools had filed their application for affiliation to the state board since December, but the process was delayed at the end of district project coordinator (DPC) resulting in still pending approvals till the end of April.
As per protocol, all the approvals or rejections must be finalised latest by mid of April, but there was no update on the portal until recently.
"There were some issues that we faced in our department, but we are working to resolve them," district project coordinator (dpc) Shanta Swami said. She added that the process was delayed, but is picking up speed.
Schools whose recognition was delayed have been raising complaints and trying to approach dpc. They claim that dpc never responds to them and often registers a case against them, if they speak against her.
A patron of the MP private school association requested anonymity and mentioned that there are 4 cases registered against him for demanding timely approval of schools.
Swami refutes the same and said, "We have approved and decided on all the schools with the last 6 being pending." She added that the affiliation of the last 6 would also be uploaded by Wednesday.
