CISCE Results 2022: ISC Toppers soar high, Science toppers take over Commerce

Colours of success and celebrations lit up Indore city on Sunday, as Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the ISC board results, i.e. Class 12 result on Sunday at 5 pm. Though the results were a little below before covid-19 outbreak, some students managed to get excelling marks.
In Indore, boys outshone girls and secured the title of city topper’s position. Rudra Prathap Singh Jadon was the city topper with 96 per cent. Second city topper title was awarded Eknath Khandelwal to for scoring 95.8 per cent.
Uzair Teli was third city topper with 94.8 per cent. Fourth city topper was Fatema Zia with 94 per cent. Purva Pandit was the fifth city topper with 93.75 per cent. All top five of the city is from Science stream.
In commerce stream, the topper was Sakshi Tiwari with a score of 91 per cent. She was followed by Mustafa Moiyada, who scored 89.75 per cent. They had a close competition of 0.25 per cent.
The third topper for commerce was a tie between Chirag Khandelwal and Kashish Juneja. Both of them scored 88.75 per cent. In Biology stream, Arthav Sohani is the city topper with 93.5 per cent.

"I feel good. It's really nice to get the title. It took a lot of hard work. I was not very focused for the boards. I studied 6 to 8 hours days but mostly for JEE Main. I solved sample papers in the last month. My interest lies in building things. I am not good at learning. I wasn't good at Biology. I am inspired by Rancho character from 3 Idiots. I want to observe and create new things. It motivates me every day. I am learning to build an app. But my focus shifted to JEE Main. My first attempt was okay. I scored 91 percentile. I could not score that well in Maths. I am trying to score more now.
My parents (Ragini and store in-charge Omprakash Jadon) are ecstatic after hearing that I topped city. We are celebrating with Pizza. I have a big family. So it's fun."

“It feels great. I was not expecting this percentage. I was expecting 90 per cent. I am hoping to become a engineer. I will be attempting the second attempt of JEE Main. I want to study computer science. I enjoy coding. My parents (Tasneem and businessman Juzer Zia) supported me throughout. It is because of their support that I could achieve this. I studied 4 to 5 hours of self-study. I am a state level throw ball player. I love athletics. I am a sprinter. I like sports but don't want it career."

“I want to be a lawyer. I have CLAT exam. I scored AIR 784. I got selected in National Law University, Lucknow and will be heading there tomorrow. I chose commerce found interesting and relevant. It appealed to me. In Grade 10, I had scored 88 per cent. My parents (Chhaya and manager Deepak Tiwari) are my biggest strength. My role-model is my elder brother (Nayan Tiwari). He is studying in IIT Guhwaiti. He is the one who taught me that hard work always pays off. I tried to revise everything that happened in the class. The idea was summarizing.

Covid-19 hit scores
Covid-19 outbreak clearly hit the students’ retention affected their studies. However, with the current results, it isn’t that bad and students are expected to perform as well as they before covid-19 by next year.
“Offline education is essential for students to focus and have clear concepts, so we can expect that students will again get better at learning and it will reflect in scores,” Yasmin Burhani, principal, MSB Education Institute, said. She explained that students have done fairly well and many students improved in the last few months.
“In the last few months before exams, schools were able to conduct pre-board exams, which helped students,” Thara Nair, vice-principal, Laurel’s International School, said. The Board has conducted the ISC Semester 2 exams between April 26 and June 13, 2022

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. The holiday commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. Under the drive, ration packets are given to 200 to 250 people on a regular basis. “Christ was the ultimate social worker. What are the precautions for prevention of corona virus? Special instructions for School Students

School Education Department issued an advisory to all the school heads and officers regarding precautions to be taken against the deadly novel coronavirus to prevent the spread of infection among school children. The advisory was sent out at the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India with a photocopy of the letter attached. The department in its advisory stated that the world is fighting against the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). In India, too, the number of cases identified has increased in the last few days. As the school going children are also susceptible to infection and this is a crucial time for children given the end of the academic year and examination, it calls for immediate measures minimizing the effects of the epidemic.
