JEE Main 2022: Blank screen, how to attempt JEE Main 2022? Wonder aspirants as centres face technical glitches

Blank screen, how to attempt JEE Main 2022?
Wonder aspirants as centres face technical glitches

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 aspirants face another major challenge as they could not see some questions during the online examination on Sunday. First, aspirants are already facing tougher competition this year, only two attempts and now, technical glitches make it hard for students to achieve the score despite having the potential to do so.
Almost all the centres in Indore faced an issue where the screen went blank on some questions. Students could not even see the questions.
In Indore, JEE Main centres were: Acropolis Institute of Technology; Chameli Devi Group of Institutions; Symbiosis University; EON Centre, Dewas Naka; and IPS Academy.
Despite increase in the number of centres this year, the issues cropped up and upset many aspirants. Most students felt a rage towards the centre, though they did not act up.
Some aspirants reached their JEE mentors at coaching centres and sought guidance. JEE mentors helped them calm down for now with a hope that National Testing Agency (NTA) will be considering the challenge faced by aspirants.
The examination was conducted in two shifts. First shift was held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second was held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Strategy to Score Well & Crack JEE Main 2022

Practise Previous Papers & Prepare Strategy
“The usual pattern of paper is Mathematics is the toughest section among others. Physics and Chemistry alternate between easy and moderate.
It is essential that students practise previous papers. Further, the papers that have already been attempted, students should use it.
JEE Main has a database from which questions are asked. So, questions asked in the exam definitely have been asked before or have at least a pattern. Students should proficient themselves in answering all types of questions in the allotted time.
It is most important to have a strategy on how they will attempt the paper. Further, students must have a practise of attempting the examination on computer, so that they are not technologically challenged in the exam.”

Checklist to Prepare for JEE Main 2022
• Make the strong points and topics of JEE Main 2022 strong such that you don't skip any questions pertaining to those topics.
• Revise from short notes and have an overall preview of the important pointers as well as the formulae before the exam.
• Don't allow room for low self-confidence. Keep your faith and do your best.
• Take a small break of 5-10 minutes after an hour of study, as fatigue can bring down your focus and concentration.
• Avoid discussing your preparation attempts, levels with friends or relatives. Do not focus on competition, just self improvisation.
• Practice, previous year papers of JEE Main exam with time constrained.

Aspirants quote details, read & prepare accordingly
JEE Main Interface Changed
“This was my second attempt as I stayed in Indore and prepared under my mentor here. This time, more than the subjects and sections, the interface was challenging.
NTA changed the interface entirely and none of us had practised on this one. This affects our speed and ease of attempting. This time, Maths was moderate to tough. It was lengthy, which was more of a problem.
Physics was easy. This was a plus for many students. Chemistry was moderately difficult. The paper overall is manageable with a balanced strategy and major focus on Maths.”

Physics was easy, Math lengthy
“Physics was on the easier side. There was less number of Numerical questions. Most of the questions were formulae based. Most questions were asked from Modern Physics.
Chemistry was between moderate to easy. There were fewer questions from inorganic part. I had to answer questions from chapters like Environmental Chemistry; Chemistry in Everyday Life; Metallurgy; Polymers and Biomolecules. Physical Chemistry was a little difficult, because it was asked with numerical questions. So, I had to calculate more.
Mathematics was comparatively tough, but moderate and manageable. There were 2 to 3 questions from PNC and Probability. Another two were from Matrices and Determinants. Although questions weren't too difficult, this section was particularly lengthy.”

Chemistry based on NCERT
“My favourite section was Chemistry. It was so easy and fun. Most of the questions were based on NCERT. So, if one had prepared well for CBSE Class 12 board examination, then Chemistry was a smooth ride.
Mathematics section was kind of difficult, because it was very lengthy. Time was essential. Physics was manageable too. It was moderately difficult.”

Practise makes us Perfect
“The paper seems very normal and attempt-able if we have practised enough. To me, Mathematics was calculative. It was expected. There no limit to how much we can practise Maths. Physics section was easy, phew... that was a relief indeed. Chemistry was moderately difficult so quite manageable. I was able to attempt 68 out of 75 questions, so that’s a good score hopefully.”

Strategy, Efforts & Management to score well
“I would rate JEE Main 2022 as easy. It was manageable and one can score well. The exam had a lot of memory oriented questions in Chemistry. Maths was lengthy. Physics was easy exception to 1 or 2 questions.
I have although attempted all 75 questions, I have doubts in only 3 to 4 questions in Chemistry section.
I am quite happy with the first attempt of JEE Main. I think the strategy with time management, regular practise and overall effort works to score well in the exam.”

Work more on higher order Maths questions
“Mathematics was lengthy. It was on conceptually higher level. The paper pattern was very similar to JEE Main 2021. One could easy attempt and score well in Physics and Chemistry by focusing on CBSE Class 12 board examination. However, for Maths, we need extra preparation and understanding of higher order questions.”

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. The holiday commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. Under the drive, ration packets are given to 200 to 250 people on a regular basis. “Christ was the ultimate social worker. Not only could he find housing for people, or give them free food,” Ashutosh Joseph, a volunteer said. He cited that in the Bible, God's call to His followers to care for other human beings is clear (Philippians 2:4; 1 John 3:17-18; Proverbs 19:17 New International Version). “In fact, Jesus states that one of the most important commandments is ‘love your neighbour...
