Maa - My Inspiration, My Guru, from a mother’s pen... by Vinita Sharma

Maa- My Inspiration, My Guru, from a mother’s pen...
My mother is my world, my everything. I have never seen a lady like her who doesn't have any desires and wants and who’s only happy with kids and her husband. She always works for us from starting of the day to the end with a charming smile on her face. Her day starts at 5 a.m. Morning routine, prayers for the whole family not for herself, sending her four children to school, preparing lunch alone without the help of any maid or helper, and helping us with our homework after we come back.
I never found such kind of woman in my whole life. Even sometimes I have some demanding desires but I have never seen my mother demanding anything. She never bought even a single gold earring or saree for herself in her whole life and the big thing is she was satisfied and happy not having any complaint from anyone. From organizing any social function to doing household chores, she was an expert in everything. She placed everyone above herself. Everyone respects her till date.
She always stood with us whenever we felt depressed and motivated whenever we did something new, always encouraged us to take on challenges. Her boldness and simplicity always inspire me.
How anyone can do lots of tasks simultaneously with no help from any maid and helpers? now when I compare myself with her, I feel I become tired of helping hands also then I amazed how she could do all the things alone when we can't do it with helpers, I always try to be like her though I know it’s too difficult to be as perfect as her but she’ll always my big inspiration. Mom, love you always!

Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. The holiday commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. Under the drive, ration packets are given to 200 to 250 people on a regular basis. “Christ was the ultimate social worker. Not only could he find housing for people, or give them free food,” Ashutosh Joseph, a volunteer said.
