Bhavya Ekta Sandesh Yatra, i.e. a procession reiterating the importance of unity will be taken out from Dussehra Maidan at 4 pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
This yatra has been noted as the longest journey in the country and holds the record for the same in the Golden Book of Records.
Chetichand Yuva Samiti and Samagra Sindhi Samaj with participation from various organisations including Indore Sindhi Samaj, women groups, Brahmin groups and other youth organisations have organised the yatra.
The procession will start from Dussehra ground, move towards Dwarkapuri, Ranjit Hanuman, Mhow Naka, and Jairampur Square. Further, visiting Shaheed Hemu Kalani statue via Manikbagh Bridge, the procession will cover Khatiwala Tank, Mahakal Square, Sindhi Colony and conclude at Vaswani Udyan.
All the women's organizations of Sindhi society are supporting the procession and will lead in the same.
Major community member participation is expected from the following areas: Dwarkapuri, Sindhi Colony, Jai Jagat, Triveni Colony, Larkana Nagar, Jairampur, Sindhu Nagar, Gopal Bagh, Jailroad, and Siyaganj.
The procession is finally being taken out again after two year’s break due to covid-19 outbreak. Due to this, community members are more enthusiastic.
Vendors from various markets including textile market, dawa bazaar, fruit-potato-onion-vegetable market, Rajwada, and Bartan bazaar will also join the procession with their vehicles in the procession.
The procession will also mark the beginning of grand celebrations of Sindhi New Year known as Cheti Chand.
Cheti Chand, the biggest and traditional festival of Sindhi society, will be celebrated with pomp in Indore city on April 2, 2022.
The major celebrations will be organised at Jhulelal temple located in Gumasta Nagar.

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. School Education Department issued an advisory to all the school heads and officers regarding precautions to be taken against the deadly novel coronavirus to prevent the spread of infection among school children.
