Free residential school for Middle school and High School students in India: admissions open

Admissions started for scheduled caste students in the Government Gyanodaya Vidyalaya residential schools.
The schools are operated by the Scheduled Caste Development Department. These schools are established across the state including Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Gwalior, Morena, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa and Shahdol.
Successful applicants will be admitted in class sixth for further studies. The last date for submission of admission forms is 5 February 2022. The forms must be filled online. The entrance examination will be conducted on 27 February 2022.
These examinations will be organised at all the district headquarters. Students studying in class fifth can apply online through the departmental website www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaasc.
No application fee or examination fee under any heads for admission will be taken from students. All the students can fill the admission form and get a chance to study in the school with no fee.
Each applying student must fill in their choice of schools in priority order for admission for at least 3 schools for admission.
Government Gyanodaya Residential Schools will be allocated on the basis of the marks received in the entrance examination and the priority order by them.
Students who are selected in the merit list will be eligible for selection against vacant seats in schools according to their options.
