Madhya Pradesh: Schools charging exorbitant fee is not something new, but now instead of solving the problem of the parents responsible for opposing it, state government is advising them to die

Schools charging exorbitant fee is not something new, but now instead of solving the problem of the parents responsible for opposing it, state government is advising them to die.

On Tuesday, when parents association Jagrut Palak Sangh members from Indore complained to the School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar about the excessive fee charged by schools and undue pressure created on parents, he told them “If you want to protest and die, then die!”

The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, when members The members of the Jagrut Palak Sang reached the government bungalow in Shyamala Hills to meet Parmar.

The association members met with Parmar complaining about the schools. “Even after the closure of the school, schools are charging online class fees from April 1,” said representative of the association advocate Chanchal Gupta.

The association demanded reduction in fee and said they would protest otherwise. On this, Parmar let asked them to die if they will and left in the car.

After this a heated argument broke out between the minister and the members of the association, Parmar said, “Don’t become leaders and try to show your leadership skills.”

The minister also asked people to stop video recording of conversations.

The minister had gotten down from the car. Then the minister and the members of the parent association were arguing on the matter of school fee.

When the minister was not ready to listen, a member asked, “Should we die then?”

Then the minister opened the car door and said, “You should die.” After that, a heated argument broke out between the two sides.

Even though the Fee Regulatory Act has not been implemented properly in MP for the last several years, yet the government seems only concerned about the schools and not about parents.
