Teacher Trauma in Madhya Pradesh as covid-19 hampers recruitments

The education department has once again postponed the verification process of teacher recruitment for class-1 and DA. This is the second time the verification process of teacher recruitment has been postponed.

The result of the teacher eligibility test was announced for the last two years, but so far the action for the appointment of teachers has not been completed.

Due to the recruitment started, many teachers working in private schools gave jobs in the middle, so that they did not have to work in the middle session.

Now the financial condition of the teachers' family is deteriorating due to lack of work. As about two years have passed, teachers are worried and feel they might not find their awaited chance anymore.

Case 1: 6 months no appointment will be taken Over Age

Divya Chourey has passed class-2 examination. Results have been released for the next two years. Divya's name is in the main list, but after postponing the verification process for the second time, there is still a delay of six months in the appointment and she will be over-aged according to the appointment conditions. In a private school, the teacher Divya also worked, now it is difficult to fill the instalment of the house.

Case 2: Hard work went to ruins, then postponed verification

Virender Tiwari said that after the selection list came, for the first time, the schedule of verification came and after verification, the private school were shut down.

Coronavirus outbreak affected the entire system. Now, the family's financial condition has deteriorated. “There is no work in private schools. Now it has been difficult to get work,” he said.

Verification stalled in the state due to Corona

As per education department officials, the process of verification for teacher recruitment has been postponed throughout the state. As per last update, there will be no verification action from April 16 to May 5.

On May 5, after reviewing the status of corona infection, the instructions coming from the state education department will be followed by the department throughout the state.
