After considering the dilemma of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), School Education Department directed all the divisional commissioners and collectors of the state on Monday, to provide transport to students.
According to the directive of the order, students will be provided free transportation to and from the examination centre for JEE Main and NEET. JEE Main will held from September 1 to 6 and NEET 2020 will be held on September 13, 2020.
The free-of- cost transport facility will be available to all the students appearing for JEE/NEET exams. Arrangements will be done from block HQ (headquarters) and district HQ of exam centres. Examinees can call at 181 or can apply by clicking on http://mapit.gov.in/covid-19 from August 31.
Exam centre in 11 districts for JEE Main and 5 districts for NEET
Out of 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh, only 11 (Ujjain, Satna, Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Bhopal, Betul, Balaghat) have JEE Main centres. That is, children of 41 districts will have to travel. At the same time, NEET centres are in only 5 cities (Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain).
