Puran Poli contains way more nutritional value than any
other sweet you generally consume. It contains the goodness of lentils such as
chana dal (Bengal gram), which is a good source of fibre and folate apart from
Vitamins A, B and D.
Puran poli made with whole-wheat flour is rich in complex
carbs, fibre & vitamin B complex.

Puran Poli Recipe

Form soft dough using whole wheat flour, turmeric
powder, salt and ghee.

Stuffing: mix cooked chana dal, jaggery, ghee, nutmeg
powder, cardamom powder, and fennel powder. Cook this in pan till jaggery is
dissolved.

Make stuffed paratha using the dough and
stuffing on heavy bottom griddle.
