CBSE affiliation fresh/renewal date extended to April 30

In view of current COVID-19 situation in the country, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) extended the date of application for schools seeking affiliation from the board from March 31 to April 30.
CBSE had notified its Affiliation Bye-Laws vide notification quoting that as per appendix I, the period for applying for affiliation under various categories i.e. fresh affiliation/Upgradation/ Switch over from other Board/Extension of Affiliation for session 2021-22 for all applicant schools is up to 31.03.2020 with requisite fees.
“In this connection the Board is in receipt of various representations from the schools mentioning problems faced by the school for submission of application for affiliation in stipulated time period in view of current COVID-19 situation,” Anurag Tripathi, CBSE secretary, wrote in the release.
The release added that therefore, to ensure fulfilment of various Govt. advisories and directive on current COVID-19 situation and a measure of abundant precautions, the competent authority of the Board after due consideration has accorded approval for extension of date of submission of application under various categories i.e. fresh affiliation/Upgradation/ Switch over from other Board/Extension of Affiliation for session

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. What are the precautions for prevention of corona virus? Special instructions for School Students

School Education Department issued an advisory to all the school heads and officers regarding precautions to be taken against the deadly novel coronavirus to prevent the spread of infection among school children. The advisory was sent out at the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India with a photocopy of the letter attached. The department in its advisory stated that the world is fighting against the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). In India, too, the number of cases identified has increased in the last few days.
