Denmark is a possible country for Indian
students to secure internships through the association, as discussed by school students
in their first-hand interaction with exchange students are mentors from the
country.
A group of 24 students along with their two
mentors, from Viborg Gymnasium Og HF, Denmark visited Choithram School North
Campus as part of Education Exchange Programme. The students stayed with the school
students for two days and returned to their country on Monday.
The interaction was organised to encourage
International learning and getting an insight into both the country’s education
system.
School principal UK Jha said, “Education
exchange aims at developing, multi-faceted approaches towards learning, amongst
students.” Under the exchange students are encouraged to accept and understand
of an array of different cultural and community perspectives.
Students of host school familiarized exchange
students with Indian Culture by accompanying them for sightseeing, by playing
different outdoor games with them and entertaining them through a mesmerizing
cultural programme comprising of classical dance and orchestra.
A Powerpoint Presentation depicting
traditions and cultural heritage of India was shown .The delegates from Denmark
were enthralled with their hospitality. “The interaction encouraged students to
develop independent opinions, make informed decisions and strive to attain
fresh goals,” Jha said.
