Last date for registering for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 is September 18

The last date for registering for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is September 18, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced recently making sure that interested teachers sign up for the test in time.
CTET 2019 exam will be held on 8 December (Sunday) across various test centres in the country including some CBSE schools in Indore. The test centres would be printed on the admit card of applying teacher.
CTET is a minimum qualification for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher. The test is conducted every year twice - July & December.
CTET will be conducted in two shifts - Morning Shift for Paper - I and Afternoon shift for Paper II. Candidates who intend to teach Classes I-V need to appear for the CTET Paper-1 and candidates who intend to teach Classes VI-VIII need to appear for CTET Paper 2. Interested candidates can apply for the CTET December 2019 exam by following the given procedure.
For general category, the examination fee is Rs 700 for any one paper and Rs 1,200 for both the papers. For scheduled caste/tribe or a specially-abled person, the fee for one paper is Rs 350 and for attempting both the papers is Rs 600.
The syllabus of CTET Paper-I and Paper-II is different. Paper-I covers child development & pedagogy, language-1, language-2, mathematics, and environmental studies.
Paper-II includes child development & pedagogy, language-1, language-2, and mathematics & science or social studies/social science.
Applicants must note
The candidate must retain confirmation page and candidate copy of e-challan for record and future reference.
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for Recruitment/ Employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
For updates, candidates must mention registration or application number in all forms of communication. 
The candidate should mention their own mobile number and e-mail ID while submitting their on-line application as the CTET alerts/information will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile number and E-Mail ID.
