CISCE ICSE 2019 - Class X board results, inspiring stories Indore

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, which is popularly known as, CISCE, released the ICSE, ISC result 2019 for the class X, XII students on Tuesday. The ICSE and ISC result 2019 usually comes out in the first week of May or April end at the earliest.
Boys outshone girls in class X board examination by bagging first two city toppers position. Vasu Garg was the city topper with 96.4 percent. Samyak Parashar came in second place with 95.6 percent.
Apoorva Chourasia and Shriya Sinha shared the third place topper’s title by scoring 94.8 percent.
Following are hopes, dreams, life lessons and experiences shared by city toppers:

City topper Vasu Garg with 96.4%

My mother is a single mother (assistant prof Vidha Bansal) and she is truly my inspiration. She taught me the balanced way to study and stay happy. My father passed away in 2014 and since then, my mother is taking care of me alone.
What helped study, score and remain stress- free is my mother’s techniques. My mother taught me to divide the syllabus in portions and study every day. With a balanced approach, I just revised during examination.
I studied for 2 to 3 hours every day and 5 to 6 hours during examination.
I feel awesome. I was expected less and I guess that played in my favour. It is a wonderful surprise. I am a bookworm, so I am getting new books as a congratulatory present. My favourite authors are: Rick Riordan, Amish Tripathi and Henry David Thoreau.
I scored 100 marks in Geography and 99 marks in History and Civics. I have been fascinated with social science since class VI. I want to become an administrator, an IAS officer, leader or an orator.
Other than my mother, I look up to my maternal uncle chief engineer Sandeep Bansal. He keeps a low profile despite being smart and rich. I can relate him to millionaire playbook.

Second city topper Samyak Parashar scored 95.6%

I was expecting higher marks about 97%. I am still happy. I studied for 4 to 5 hours every day. I got 100 marks in computer, history and civics, and 99 marks in English. I want to become a nuclear engineer.
My father (Vinod Parashar) is an instrumentation engineer. I come from a family of doctors and engineers. My mother (Preeti Parashar) is a homemaker. I am an only child. My rolemodel is Elon Reeve Musk.  South African entrepreneur Elon Musk is known for founding Tesla Motors and SpaceX, which launched a landmark commercial spacecraft in 2012.

Third City Topper Shriya Sinha with 94.8%

My mother (Scientific assistant at DAVV Madhulika Sinha) is my inspiration, my world and everything. She has brought me up alone and never compromised on my needs or dreams.
I might be the luckiest girl to have a mother, who is supportive of all my dreams despite her personal struggles. My mother has faced a lot of problems in her life, especially because of my father. But she never let it affect me.
She stands as a tall pillar of strength, inspiration and love for me. I want to be like her. This achievement is entirely hers. I want to become a scientist and might even consider becoming an engineer, so I will be attempting JEE.
I am taking PCM with computers in class XI. Unlike many students, I do not have a timed study schedule. Instead, I study when I feel like it but it is concentrated study. I mostly remember whatever I read.
I have many interests and because my mother always supports my interest. I have completed three year certificate of violin. I love swimming and volleyball. I am also learning photography.
My maternal family especially my grandparents are my world. My grandfather (late sales officer Inderbushan Prasad) was our strength. We lost him last year and I was heartbroken. I did not know how to handle losing him.
My maternal grandmother (educationist Kiran Prasad) is our home now. She teaches us to strong and loving.

Third city topper Apoorva Chourasia with 94.8%

Scoring so well with the title of third city topper is like the sun after the storm for me. I have been really sick this year. I suffered from neurological disorder and had to take 3 months off from school.
I use to get cramps all over body, convulsion and hyperventilation. I did not expect to get a good result. Even my family members and I considered repeating the class.
Somehow, I gave pre-boards and then boards. I live in Indore with my mother, just because studies are better here. My mother Dr Priya Chourasia is tehsildar. My father (paediatrician Dr Dilipa Chourasia) is posted in Satna.
I have a younger brother (4-year-old Adeesh) and sister (9-year-old Akshara). With both my parents as doctors, I am also interested in medical field. My further plans is post graduation from Germany's Friedrich Munich university.
My role-model is my mother. She works so hard and still has a smile 24*7. From my experience, I have learned to take one day at a time and have smaller goals. Most importantly, we must do what teachers say.

Before Pentecost, Christian community helps underprivileged families with ration

Prior to Pentecost, Christian community is following the lessons taught by Jesus Christ and helping those in need. In their drive to help underprivileged families, Christian volunteers forming a group are providing ration packets to them. Christian holiday of Pentecost, which is celebrated the 49th day (the seventh Sunday) after Easter Sunday, will be celebrated on May 31 this year. The holiday commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. Under the drive, ration packets are given to 200 to 250 people on a regular basis. “Christ was the ultimate social worker. Not only could he find housing for people, or give them free food,” Ashutosh Joseph, a volunteer said. He cited that in the Bible, God's call to His followers to care for other human beings is clear (Philippians 2:4; 1 John 3:17-18; Proverbs 19:17 New International Version). “In fact, Jesus states that one of the most important commandments is ‘love your neighbour...
