Rejoicing every moment of life with Nalini Nanote

Life is not meant for just living, it is meant for rejoicing. That is the lesson that Nalini Nanote taught me. She left me speechless, so can't say much. Even after three cancer attacks, 71-year-old Nalini Nanote lives a normal life, travels frequently and enjoys every moment. Sharing her story, she said, “I was first diagnosed with cancer in January 1998.” My gynaecologist referred me to a cancer specialist, who explained the procedure to me,” she added. She went through six shots of chemotherapy, which left her feeling woozy. “However, I recovered very fast because I wanted to,” Nanote said. She continued her job as a senior supervisor at BSNL, while handling her household responsibilities. “My life got back to track and I lived a normal life, till I got retired,” she said. After retirement, she was diagnosed with throat cancer. “I could not eat or drink anything for eight months,” Nanote shared. Her doctor did not operate on her, saying it would not be safe. “Initial...
